Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has revealed why Paul Pogba will not feature in today’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.
Pogba is not in United’s squad for the match at Old Trafford because of an injury, believed to be a gash on his leg.
“He was injured yesterday in training. An unlucky situation and he’s out. I don’t know how long he’s out for,” Mourinho explained before the game.
Mourinho will also be without Anthony Martial and Juan Mata takes his place in the team.
“I trust Mata’s experience, I think he can move into areas where he can connect our game, he is very intelligent.
“Liverpool are a strong team in fast counter attack and transition. We try to reduce the possibilities of their counter attack,” the United manager added.
